AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

Twice a month on Fridays from 4-5pm
Horizons After School Program offers small group opportunities for children with disabilities and their families to engage in fun activities after school! Kids will enjoy a variety of exciting activities including arts and crafts, nature activities, sensory play, rock climbing, gently guided play, and more! This safe and supportive environment fosters social skills, cooperative play, and physical activity for youth with diverse abilities. Siblings are welcome too!
$5 Per child
September 11th- Rock Climbing and Rock Painting
September 25th- Dino Park and Dino Craft
October 9th- Nature Scavenger Hunt and Bug Hotels
October 30th- Sensory Friendly Trail-Or-Treat (3:30- 5:30PM)
HORIZONS: NATURE EXPLORERS
FALMOUTH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, ME

In partnership with Falmouth Parks and Recreation and located right at Falmouth Elementary School, join us for Horizons Nature Explorers where every child can shine in the great outdoors! This inclusive program is designed to support children with disabilities or those needing a little extra support, yet open to everyone. Experience hands-on outdoor adventures through exploring local trails, discovering wildlife, and conducting nature-based experiments. From scavenger hunts and habitat exploration to creative outdoor play, participants will connect with nature, build confidence, and grow as a team.

This program provides a safe, supportive space for siblings of kids with disabilities to connect, share experiences, and form lasting friendships. Join us for laughter, fun, and the chance to bond with other kids who truly "get it." It’s all about building friendships, sharing experiences, and having a great time together.
Sibshops runs at the same time as Horizons Afterschool Program, so the whole family can have some AOEC fun!
This program is open to siblings ages 6–12

HORIZONS
SUMMER CAMP
BRUNSWICK, ME

The Horizons Summer Camp is based at our AOEC Brunswick location. Camp is geared toward school-aged youth with autism. Each camper will also be provided a 1:1 volunteer support person whose primary role is to help campers successfully participate in each days adventures!
This camp is open to current AOEC families. Space is limited and dependent on volunteers. If you are interested in learning more or joining our waitlist please email us.
