ANIMALS IN THE POND:
PRESENTED BY CREA

SEPTEMBER 8TH, 2022
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Beside our pond at the Brunswick AOEC, Cathance River Education Alliance (CREA) will be educating participants on animals that live near the pond - muskrat, kingfisher, ducks, and bittern. Participants will learn some of the special features of each animal, such as camouflage and special beaks, and will have the chance to use body motions and sounds to act out the different animals and the way each animal finds food. CREA will also bring one live pond animal, a turtle, for participants to touch, see its colors, face, and body up close, and observe how it moves. Participants will also play a game to explore the life cycle of how turtles lay eggs.

This program is for adults of all abilities and costs $5 to attend.
