At this hands on learning event, we will step back in time and become prospectors as we search for real "gems". We will dig for minerals and perform different geological tests to identify what you found!

Ever wonder how meteorologists predict the weather, or what those clouds overhead are really telling you? Come to the AOEC Brunswick to learn from educators from Merryspring Nature Center for an interactive program exploring how to interpret weather reports and identify cloud formations. Participants will gain practical tools for understanding forecasts and a deeper appreciation for the ever-changing sky.

Take a tour through our solar system during an immersive presentation with Northern Stars Planetarium! Enter their planetarium dome and experience a trip through the stars like no other. Expect a 30 minute presentation and a 30 minute activity and craft. Open to curious minds of all ages and abilities!
