Join us for an inclusive family paddle day with Maine Sport Outfitters in Camden! We will learn the basics of paddling, then go for a scenic paddle to Curtis Island.

Join the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center for an unforgettable weekend of kayaking, camping, and community in the scenic coastal DownEast Region of Maine!
9/12: Folks arrive, get settled, and set up camp. We will be camping at Greenlaw Campground.
9/13: Paddle day with Osprey Echo Sea Kayaking. This will be a full day of island exploration and fun! Adaptive paddling equipment available thanks to Maine Coast Heritage Trust!
9/14: Local educational experience before heading home.

COST: $150 for paddlers + $45 for caring partner. This includes all meals, activities, and camping for the weekend.

If you need camping gear (such as a tent, sleeping pad and bag, etc) we can provide this!

Join us and our friends from L.L. Bean's Outdoor Discovery School for an afternoon of outdoor recreation! You will have the chance to try archery, practice your fly casting, scale our 30' outdoor climbing wall, learn about inclusive paddling equipment, take a stroll through our adaptive trail network, and MORE!

Join the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center and Erik Kondo for a wooden wheelchair building day at our Brunswick location! This will be a fun and educational day learning how to build a low-cost, capable wheelchair as part of our Adaptive Mobility Initiative.

Join the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center and Carrabassett Valley Academy for a unified race at Sugarloaf! Each team will include an adaptive athlete and an Academy athlete. Each athlete races the course set on the Lower Narrow Gauge Trail. Their times are combined, and the best teams' time determines the results.
