The most exciting day of the year: AOEC Dino Park's grand opening!
Join Jurassic Park consultant Dino Don for an exciting 30-minute interactive presentation exploring the science behind one of the most iconic dinosaur movies ever made, followed by a book signing and a trip out to our brand new Dino Park, featuring dinosaur replicas designed by Dino Don himself!

Join us for a two hour eco tour paddle, designed for families and beginners with our friends at Osprey Echo Sea Kayaking!

Heritage Trust and the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center (AOEC) for
an accessible Island Access Tour!

We are collaborating to eliminate physical barriers to paddling by
offering an adaptive experience in the scenic coastal DownEast Region of Maine.
​
This event will include adaptive paddling equipment, a tour out to Little Camp Island, and island exploration!

Join us and our friends from L.L. Bean's Outdoor Discovery School for an afternoon of outdoor recreation! You will have the chance to try archery, practice your fly casting, scale our 30' outdoor climbing wall, learn about inclusive paddling equipment, take a stroll through our adaptive trail network, and MORE!

Parents, this one’s for you! Enjoy a few hours of well-deserved ‘you time’ while your kids play create, and connect in a safe, inclusive space. This program is designed to support children with disabilities.
Siblings welcome too!

***In order to ensure we can provide appropriate supports for participants, we require families to have attended previous AOEC programming with us (i.e. climbing, skiing, sailing, after school, camp, etc.)***

Join the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center and Erik Kondo for a wooden wheelchair building day at our Brunswick location! This will be a fun and educational day learning how to build a low-cost, capable wheelchair as part of our Adaptive Mobility Initiative.
