Build confidence, coordination, and self-expression in a welcoming martial arts class designed for participants of all abilities. Whether you're a seasoned martial artist or have never taken a class before, this pop-up event is for you!
Activities will be adapted to meet a variety of physical, developmental, and learning needs, creating an inclusive environment where everyone can participate, learn new skills, and have fun. Open to all ages and abilities!

Join us and our friends from L.L. Bean's Outdoor Discovery School for an afternoon of outdoor recreation! You will have the chance to try archery, practice your fly casting, scale our 30' outdoor climbing wall, learn about inclusive paddling equipment, take a stroll through our adaptive trail network, and MORE!

Parents, this one’s for you! Enjoy a few hours of well-deserved ‘you time’ while your kids play create, and connect in a safe, inclusive space. This program is designed to support children with disabilities.
Siblings welcome too!
***In order to ensure we can provide appropriate supports for participants, we require families to have attended previous AOEC programming with us (i.e. climbing, skiing, sailing, after school, camp, etc.)***

Come take a stroll through the Enchanted Forest Trails in your favorite Halloween costume! Explore the trails and stop along the way to visit tables hosted by local disability-friendly organizations. There will be plenty of Halloween goodies, fun activities, and friendly faces along the trail. It’s a fun, inclusive way for the whole family to celebrate the season together!

Join Osprey Echo Sea Kayaking, Maine Coast Heritage Trust, Island
Heritage Trust and the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center (AOEC) for
an accessible Island Access Tour!
We are collaborating to eliminate physical barriers to paddling by
offering an adaptive experience in the scenic coastal DownEast Region of Maine.
This event will include adaptive paddling equipment, a tour out to Little Camp Island, and island exploration!
